Healing Seeds Foundation

We are thrilled to share exciting news — Healing Seeds Foundation has officially received our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status!

Founded in 2020 by Dr. Babbie (Lester) Stern and Lessing Stern, Healing Seeds Farm began as a vision to bring together community, healing, and the wisdom of nature. What started as a naturopathic and classical Chinese medicine clinic, a regenerative and organic produce and botanical medicine farm, and a Montessori-based homeschool focusing on farm and nature has grown into a thriving ecosystem of holistic living and education.

Now, with the formation of Healing Seeds Foundation, our nonprofit is dedicated to expanding this mission — providing educational opportunities and scholarships for those who might not otherwise be able to access our services.

Proudly serving on our Executive Board, Dr. Babbie (McComb) and Liza (Salowey) Story were both born and raised right here in Park City. These women are deeply inspired to create space for natural health and community vitality.

The Foundations' first step is to start hosting events in Eastern Summit County — from wellness classes to internships, and volunteer opportunities in Natural Healing, permaculture, regenerative and organic farming, botanical medicine, and earth-based practices. These events will nurture the understanding that Nature is the best medicine, that the Doctor is a Teacher, and that through our connection to the earth and her ecosystems, we have the remarkable ability to heal ourselves.
